Machine details
The VMC1160 carries a 1200 x 600 mm table rated to 800 kg. Larger mold plates and heavy fixtures stay on the machine without a swap to a bigger frame.
X and Y rapid at 24 m/min and Z at 18 m/min across 1100 / 600 / 600 mm of travel. The X travel comfortably clears a 1000 mm plate position in one setup.
A belt-driven BT40 spindle with a Φ150 nose runs to 8,000 rpm, paired with a 24-station disc tool changer on a 2.5 second tool change.
The bed and column are ribbed castings with box ways, giving the 6,500 kg machine the rigidity to rough steel and cast iron without chatter.
